Overview

WriteOff is operated by JAMSHI Technologies Inc. WriteOff is designed with local-first data storage for expense records, receipt images, reports, and manually created backups.

Local Data

Core expense records, receipts, reports, and manual backups are stored locally on the user's device unless the user explicitly chooses a feature that transmits data.

Data stored locally may include:

• Expense descriptions, dates, amounts, and categories
• Merchant information
• Receipt photographs
• Generated reports
• Local preferences and backup metadata

JAMSHI Technologies Inc. does not maintain a centralized database containing users' expense records or receipt images.

Optional Auto Backup

Users who subscribe to Auto Backup may choose to send encrypted backup attachments to their verified backup email address. Only information necessary to provide the backup service is processed for this purpose.

Purchases

WriteOff purchases and subscriptions may be processed by app stores such as Google Play and Apple App Store. JAMSHI Technologies Inc. does not receive or store users' full payment card details from those purchases.

Data Deletion

Users may delete locally stored WriteOff data from within the app. Uninstalling the application may also remove locally stored application data, subject to the operating system's backup and restore behavior. Store purchase records are managed by the user's app store account and may remain restorable through that store.
